Mother's Slumber: An ice-white blossom that grows at the top of the highest peak in Roost. These rare flowers are only in bloom during the first few weeks of the Radiant Season, and are only useful in potions if harvested in this window of time. The rest of the year, these flowers fall dormant, their buds resembling the head of a sleeping raptor. Their properties as a "cure-all" are highly coveted, and so these flowers and the tinctures that are made from them are sold at extraordinarily high prices. The legends of Roost say that the peak where these flowers bloom-- the Soulseed Spire-- is the first place where the Creators touched down when they dove into the planet, and that these flowers are the first spark of life given to the world by these gods.
