Starting out on the top floor, Victoro picks the lock on a room
In the room is a massive suit of armor fit for a giant and a bunch of tools, bunch of papers on the table. Guy takes a wrench to use as a weapon
Low hum coming from the machine across the room
Guy finds a note on top of the pile of papers
Aine grabs a screwdriver and inspects the machine
Resident Evil puzzle on the machine
To the basement, I intentionally trip and fall to try to create a distraction from Artemi
Aer rolls poorly on her stealth check, the human guard in the front thinks it came from one of the prison cells
Aer rolls good perception,in the far cell, in the corner, there is a person in that cell
Artemi uses Meta points to cure his exhaustion, then runs in to attack the guard in front, and kills him
Outside Mews is attacking Catrina
Victoro opens the next room and finds some blueprints, they are to the obelisk tower
There are unworn work clothing in the dresser
Upstairs puzzle solved?
Aine finds some stuff about the suit of armor, it's a prototype
Aine and Guy fix our no magic problem
I electrocute the lastguard in the basement
Aer realizes the basement dungeon is very hastily set up and shoddy
She opens the other door and finds the weapon check room
Artemi goes and grabs his weapons, he rolls a nat 1 to find a better weapon and a dagger is "calling to him"
Mews takes a bunch of hits and then hits back and decides to run
Victoro changes into a suit?
Victoro is picking the lock on one of the rooms past the velvet line, small office filled with dying plants, there's a ring on the desk that he takes, the ring is a bit warm
Guy goes to check on the basement folks
Aine trying to investigate the armor suit, does find another document. Suit is made out of lightweight, sturdy metal, small empty glass canisters in the arms, large canister in the back, Shuck mining emblem on the suits leg
She tries to pull out one of the glass canisters in the arm and shatters it
I try to guilt trip Julez into reconsidering her position, maybe succeed? She's at least going to walk around the town and talk
I grab a very expensive bottle of wine
Aer hold persons her and tries to stop her, I try to talk her out of it and Aer walks away. I dispel the hold person as a show of good faith to Julez
As Artemi goes outside, a person yells loudly for everyone to stand still as the royal procession begins to make their way out
Artemi sees his brother (Adrik) making his way toward the exit as well
Artemi summons his echo and starts to attack him
Adrik whips around, eyes glowing red, and attacks the Echo
Victoro basically casing the joint as the rest of us are doing our thing
Guy uses divine sense in the weapon room to search for holy weapons
He also grabs everyone's weapons and puts them in the bag of holding
Aine sees a flat ring-like object made of the same material as the building in the woods and takes it
Aine guiding bolts the suit of armor to try to destroy it, the suit is still in pristine condition
Mews comes to the basement and gets her weapon and tells us shit is going down in the courtyard
Adrik misty steps behind Artemi and threatens him
Adrik pumps fire and necrotic energy into Artemi, big damage
We're all (mostly) heading out to help Artemi and Mews
Guy busts out his steed (Fey Elk) and rides out to join the battle
Aine guiding bolts the canister again, and it blows up massively, somehow Aine and Victoro dodge the damage
I am trapped in the basement now
The armor is destroyed now
Artemi gets the killing blow on his brother, but does it non-lethally
Victoro loots the brother's body, finds a bronze key with a gem inlaid in it. Took 17 necrotic on a successful save for touching him
Giant mech suit piloted by Chuck Shuck lands in the courtyard
Catrina runs away
Combination of reduce and polymorph fuck up the mech suit
Artemi's brother dies and turns to goop
Guy gets the killing hit on Chuck
Gooey spiders in Artemi's brother's corpse
Artemi pulls a watch that belonged to their father out of his brother's robes. Strange that he would have this watch
Artemi's Echo puts its hand out for the watch?
Artemi hands the Echo the watch, cliffhanger
