Aine's Story

Born in Ivor, Aine has never seen the world. She has only learned about it from the outdated history books that were brought with them when her people fled the city of Gilding. Ivor, located on a tall mountain ridge, is very difficult to get to. The world is well aware of the city but not many travel to it due to the sheer cliffs you must traverse to reach Ivor. Ivor Is composed of a diverse population due to the air genasi bringing their closest of friends when they left Gilding.

Though Ivor is composed of a diverse population there is a ruling council of seven elders. One from each of the seven prominent air genasi families.

Aine is a part of the Aeranas family, one of the seven Ivor families. She is child 4 out of 6. She has an older twin brother Issic who is a Ranger. Aine also has a best friend who is a year younger than her. Her name is Aidana Murmus. She is still in the city completing her last year of schooling/training.

Aine's motivation out in the world is to learn about the dangers that are out there and to hone her skills to be able to protect her home from them. She plans on keeping track of what she learns and bringing the knowledge back with her for future generations to learn about. Aine is not keen on outsiders but she has chosen to join a group because she figured that her skills are still basic and this is the fastest and safest way to learn about the world and to survive to make it back home.
