Zara Dusk-Fang's Story

Clan Dusk-Fang is a multi-species clan bound in spirit rather than blood. Hunters, gatherers, farmers, artisans, merchants, mercenaries, and even entertainers. The quasi-nomadic clan of the underdark can be relied on for nearly anything as their main focus is to be the backbone of the Underdark's civilization, not out of a desire for power or wealth but, a belief that a strong community built on love and respect is more powerful than any government built on money or military might.

Zara, born to parents Zane and Zephyr, is the middle child of her rather large family unit.

Zara being the middle child of such an impressive pedigree is often looked down on by outsiders as her occupation as a hunter lacks the glamor and impact that her siblings' occupations have. This weight and expectation bares down on Zara almost every day causing her to be very withdrawn and difficult to get along with. Zabel is the only one who has seen Zara vulnerable and is Zara's only real friend. Zara spends most of her time on hunts making her living selling the furs and meats from her hunts to whoever will buy but, is often pressured to sell her more "exotic" trophies to Zuri who makes money hand-over-fist for Zara's hard work.

Zara's Siblings in order of age:
• Zane Jr. - 32 years old, Male, Mercenary. Zane Jr. (referred to by Zara as ZJ) is calm, even-tempered, cunning, soft spoken, and easily the most gifted fighter of the family. ZJ is the founder and commander of the mercenary troupe Black Hand.
• Zorvath - 30 years old, Male, Mage/Scholar. Zorvath is a brilliant mage who specializes in the taboo magical practice of Hemocraft (Blood Magic), he is very closed off, often keeps to himself. While his practice is frowned upon, he has used Hemocraft to make advancements in spellcraft that is used by Fynali's most powerful and reputable mages.
• Zuri - 28 years old, Female, Entrepreneur. Zuri is easily the most business-savvy of the family, at a young age, she was known to always be making deals for low value resources and making very intelligent investments for her age. When she hit her late teens, Zuri had opened an expansive traveling merchant network that even reaches Fynali's surface.
• Zara - 27 years old, Female, Hunter.
• Zeke- 25 years old, Male, Bard. Zeke is a very gifted musician who specializes in singing and the piano. He is the front man and founder of the popular band "Zeke me, Baby!" known for hit songs such as 'Spell Love with a Z', 'Zekein' All Night Long', and 'Zeke-a-ziod'. "Humble" will never be a word used to describe Zeke however, his talent makes it difficult to argue with his arrogance.
• Zoe and Zion - 22 years old, Female (Zoe) and Male (Zion), Artists. Zoe and Zion are generationally talented artists, Zoe's paintings are known across all of the Underdark and she has a small niche fanbase on the surface. Zion's powerful and thought evoking sculptures are talked about throughout most of the art community for his choice of Obsidian as a medium due to it's brittle nature yet, he manages to carve beautiful and intricate details into his sculptures that beggar belief
• Zabel - 19 years old, Female, Hunter in Training. Zabel the youngest, has always looked up to Zara and envied Zara's talent for hunting and being a survivalist. She and Zara spend most of their time together on hunts that can go on for months at a time.
