Louie Dalhia's Story

Louie is an only child born to his parents Dominic and Delilah Dahlia. Together, Louie and his family lived a relatively peaceful life in Platinum City where Louie's mother whole-heartedly believes that they live in the greatest city of Fynali. Things began to change for Louie the fateful day where he had his unforgettable experience with a Jack of Clubs playing card in an alleyway.

This event sparked a strong desire in Louie to protect those who could not protect themselves, often finding himself in trouble at school due to him picking fights with bullies regardless of who they were. Eventually leading to his expulsion from school and snowballing to his parents kicking him out of his childhood home at the age of 16 where he lived on the streets of Platinum City where he lived every day evading the watchful eyes of the Sentinels and helping others in his position do the same. One of his fellow vagrants, a beautiful young human woman Miku Nakamura who earned her money as a singer performing on the streets where Louie often found himself watching over her as a result of his protective nature but, also a deep admiration for her talent in music, the comfort her voice brings people, and the beginnings of love for her that became increasingly difficult to ignore.

After some time, Miku was recognized by a wealthy man with an eye for talent, Samir Lastrade, a suave well-spoken human man who saw Miku's potential, and agreed to sponsor her and her musical endeavors. Steadfast and loyal Miku only accepted, provided Louie was her personal bodyguard, Samir attempted to protest but was soundly beaten into submission by Miku's stubbornness. The years pass as Miku sees a meteoric rise to fame as she becomes a household name, selling out shows at some of the largest and most popular venues in Platinum City with Louie building a reputation as an effective bodyguard often stopping problems before they start with his razor-sharp intuition.

Louie is now 27 years old when he is approached by a nervous young courier with a message for Louie that shakes Louie to his very core. Louie's father Dominic has fallen gravely ill and given a bleak prognosis with only weeks left to live. Louie attempts to leave and be with his father in his final days where he is stopped by Miku who refuses to let Louie go without her wiping her entire schedule to be there for Louie not knowing that this decision would be the beginning of the end for the two of them as Samir is furious with Miku choosing Louie over her music career.

Louie, with Miku at his side, spends the next few weeks at his father's side where he spends the time repairing his damaged relationship with his parents. In Dominic's final moments, he tells Louie for the first time since he was a child "I'm proud of ya, kiddo." before he finally passes on.

Two years have gone by since Dominic's passing and Samir's resentment towards Louie grows every day and is only compounded by Miku's loyalty to Louie. Until the day where Samir had finally confronted Louie with an ultimatum, if Louie doesn't leave, he will pull all financial support from Miku and have her back on the streets. Louie accepts not before rightfully punching Samir in the face. Louie slips away in the night leaving a note for Miku that reads "I'll always love you, Punk"

Louie now takes to the streets to begin his next adventure in Fynali.
