The High Keepers
Called upon by The Warden, the eight High Keepers spent much of their life in pursuit of individuals blessed by the gods in hopes that they might help to stem the corruption taking over Fynali. These High Keepers possess high level magic of one specific school and, once soulbound to the Warden's Shield, give The Blessed a magical power-up to spells from their associated domain. The High Keepers founded the organization called The Keepers of Destiny in the early part of the millennium, collecting people of all backgrounds and abilities to help them find The Blessed and destroy the shards of Solana that were overtaking the planet. After an attack by the Order of Righteous Conflict that left many of the KoD supporters dead, the organization and the High Keepers scattered, hoping to find a more effective way to stop the spread or-- at the very least-- enjoy the rest of their existence before the end of the world.
Raveth
Born, fully grown, nearly 800 years prior, Raveth Orsa was the Warden-Selected representative of Illusion magic for the Keepers of Destiny. Uninterested in the 'administrative bullshit,' she created a simulacrum named Tali to act as the High Keeper of Illusion for the organization. Raveth used her gifts with illusions for chaos and mischief, enjoying her powers and abilities without much consideration for the responsibilities that came with such powers. Once the Keepers of Destiny dissolved, Raveth split herself and Tali fully, giving Tali-- as she always had-- the burdens of their life before. All the memories of the Keepers, all of the powers of her illusion magic, were given to Tali, and Tali was given the role of Patron for Raveth. Unburdened by memories of the end of the world and the mission of the Keepers of Destiny, Raveth dove into living, finding her place on the open seas and with a crew that appreciated and encouraged the creativity and recklessness that her Keeper siblings always detested. One of Raveth's favorite crewmates was Grayce MacNalley, a younger, much more composed tiefling woman whose quiet spirit of adventure fit as a perfect complement to Raveth's chaotic act-first-think-later approach. Captain Raveth was a bit more tempered in the days when Grayce was on-board, and a bit more impulsive once Grayce had left. Raveth never blamed Grayce for not saying goodbye-- both Raveth and Grayce knew how difficult Raveth could be, and how unlikely she was to take such a decision from Grayce without a storm of unnecessary pushback and questioning, but the loss hung heavy with her until she met up with Grayce again during an unlikely mission to find her stolen boat. And since Raveth had no memories of her time as part of the Keepers of Destiny, the fact that Grayce was one of the Blessed individuals she had spent centuries looking for was completely lost on her. Though, when all of her memories and her time as Tali returned to her, she certainly found the fact quite funny-- especially since Grayce had been riding by her side for literal decades.
Tali
Tali was the High Keeper of Illusion for the Keepers of Destiny, appearing as a female dwarf with long red hair. Originally created by Raveth Orsa as a simulacrum to take over the 'boring' responsibilities of trying to save the world from encroaching darkness, Tali became the main point of contact for the Keepers. Following their departure from the fractured Keepers, Raveth and Tali fully split, resulting in Tali manifesting, no longer as an illusion, but as an entity of her own. After The Moonlighters completed the Illusion Trial, Tali gave her powers to them and the Warden's Shield, abandoning her physical body and binding her soul and magic to the shield to aid the heroes' quest to save Fynali.
After the Moonlighters unified, passing Typhon's trial, he was able to embue his soul into the Shield, where his magic was bound. He used one last burst of his magic at the Battle of Wiltspar, leaving behind his material body.
