Starting as Theo in Platinum City

We seek out Ouglana to ask her for a ride

She agrees, ship is being repaired, it will be ready at dawn

Louie is taking us to a tavern in the harbor district called Shuck Off

I ask Louie if being able to lie could be used to our advantage, he seems troubled by the fact that I'm asking this question

Sentinel stops us at a checkpoint to ask us if we are planning on doing crime

The Boatswain approaches a sailor at the bar, asks him about CPT. Preston, the individual tries to lie about the Captain's whereabouts

Boatswain gives an ice cold message for the individual to give to the Captain if he sees him

The guys who were eying me as I pushed my drink away come over and accost Louie (Dorthrak the Orc)

These guys seem kind of sad that Louie is leaving, they keep asking him if has told his other friend

To Darlak, my dearest, please know, that your husband, has tragically fallen apart in many ways, and can no longer come back.

We discuss going to the divine district to find out more information about the gods we are being touched by

Rix chugs the wine down and gets drunk before we head out

We head in to the library of Psyona

If we think about the topic we want to learn about the library will show us the way

Cursed Swamps

One journal centered around what it is, incredibly toxic, consumes as it spreads, no definitive source identified

All three journals draw the conclusion that it's an otherworldly source, doesn't interact with Fynali's environment

She follows her path to a door, the door does open, but into a big empty room

Louie and I meet up with them

I touch the wall, there are shelves of books behind some sort of illusion?

Rix goes back to the front desk to try to ask what is going on

The front desk person says there are no rooms in the library

I ask Nova to show me what I need to see

Looking down on people digging through a temple, I see the base that the other group cleared to get the holy symbols

Louie seeks Nocturne, it doesn't work

Rix asks her God, we need the key, and friends

TBoats takes one trashy romance novel for the road

We go to the Void of Nocturne

We cannot see in here, not even Rix's devil's sight works here

Some of us can hear great, a humming sound drawing them in

Louie (Nat 20), Rix, and Morgan head in, I step out since I can't see or hear, The Boatswain is wandering aimlessly (Nat 1)

Louie passes through a door, following the humming, once in there he has a bit of blind sight

The humming is coming from clerics on the sides of the room, shrine in here

Louie kneels and thinks about how he needs to build trust with Nocturne, needs to know its worth it, it's like the floor falls out from underneath him, feels himself begin to fall. He fully trusts that he is going to be caught, he will not fall to his death. Shadow engulfs him almost like falling into water, two pinpricks of white dots in the shadow, looking at him through the darkness

Theo decides he doesn't need to go to Nova's temple right now, but that time will come someday

Heading to Phasma's Sanctuary to commune with Boaty's God. Swirling white mist outside, soft purple lantern light, we follow, lantern stays about 5 feet ahead of us, we enter the Sanctuary

Someone gently weeping in the corner

Clerics walking around, one is holding a lantern, another is lighting a lantern by the altar

TBoats sits next to the weeping person, he says he lost his wife very recently and is here to experience Phasma's embrace through this grief. TBoats gives him the romance novel???

TBoats is nailing this

He lights a lantern and prays to it, praying that the person who lost his wife is gonna be okay

A whisper, a rustle of cloth on the edge of his ear, a sense of a kindness and an appreciation for the kindness TB is showing to the person he literally just met. His lantern then goes out and he hears "I'm glad it was you", TB starts crying and he doesn't know why

Rix prays to Phasma over TB's Boat

To the Vivarium of Genesis next, beautiful stained glass that lights the floor up. Clerics sitting around on cushion benches, singing and praying. Prayer seems to involve grabbing the light and bathing in it?

As Morgan prays she hears "You are the embodiment of vitality and life and you will bring so much to this world"

To Korzo next, up a spiral staircase to a ten story tower, entrance at the very top, very cozy inside.

Clerics say to step to the ledge to pray to Korzo, gotta do the jump, if you have a good heart you'll be fine

Rix doing a lot of questioning whether she has a good heart before she jumps

Rix rolls a nat 1 on her Religion check

As she steps off the ledge, she hears a voice, half-joking half-stern "You, you have heart to fall, and you seem to have the courage, the real question is, who is gonna help you when you need it?

I cast Feather Fall to stop her from dying

Voice says "When you trust in yourself, others will trust in you too"

We head to Cloh's Casino, it is huge, even bigger than the library of Psyona, massive ceilings, giant, gaudy chandeliers

Theo doubled his MFin money at the casino

We head to the Adventurer's Guild to register as "The Moonlighters"

The Adventurer's Guild has some weird blind choice rules when it comes to picking quests

Fireworks time

We chat with the Chancellor and the elf queen lady in the garden

The lady is going to stay for some time and help defend the city

The Chancellor hasn't seen his sister in a long time, doesn't know if she will be cooperative with us

Louie steps out to deal with some shit, I follow along to make sure he's safe

Quasi-abandoned sewer system under the city known as Rat Haven, where homeless people congregate

Louie is looking to give his goodbyes to one person and spread the word that he's leaving

He comes across Lenny the Leper, let's him know the deal sort of. Asks if Miku still comes to see them

Asks Lenny not to mention this to Miku specifically, but actually you can't not tell her, but if she asks answer

Long rest is had

We get on the boat and do a ~2.5 day journey to Centra

Another boat in the distance, a mile-ish away, massive tentacle comes out of the water and slams that boat, ripple effect in the water as that boat is smashed into pieces. The ripples seem to be shielded from our boat (Nova is with us). The creature is The Thresher

Theo talks to the Boatzard. Finds out that the Gragtharian magic users are mostly divine-based, some are born with it, a very select few are wizards like myself and go to the Arcademy

TBoats rolls poorly and ends up Boatsplaining to Ouglana

Morgan helping out in the galley, double Nat 1, knocks the pepper into the dessert, sets the galley on fire

We make it to Centra!
